Re: [Cosmeticinfo] Background
Maurice,
I'm impressed with your soul as well as your knowledge:)) Nope, not sucking
up, just saying so. I envy you. I would love to wake up in the morning and go
to work thinking, today I get to help make it easier for someone to feel
better about themself or how they are treating their bodies.
Very cool. Kudos to your career too.

Well, I'm impressed! All three of you actually started in something else
and found your way into cosmetic chemistry by accident, or maybe divine
guidance?
This is so interesting. I've always thought the three of you were highly
educated, degree wearing chemists (if not beards :) with knowledge only
obtainable through years of advanced schooling. Your ability to address
such a wide number of subjects within the area speaks well of your
education - and experience! My major was not chemistry, though I have a
fair amount, and my husband taught it for awhile. I use the early am hours
& late pm hours to study & my husband says I now know more chemistry than he
does. I joke if I were 20 years younger I'd be the next Estee
Lauder....what a kick to realize it might not be probable but could be
possible. You certainly inspire me to continue experimenting & learning!
In a different area, I was so saddened to see the news of the shuttle today,
almost a repeat of 17 years ago when I watched the Challenger with Christa
McAullif (?) explode in the air. We have come to take these for granted
and forget the tremendous risks they take every time. Oddly enough, upon
the return of this flight, they were to start preparing for the next Teacher
in Space flight.

I agree, I call it God's Grace.
